My Journey in Holistic Medicine
My journey towards a holistic approach to medicine began during my global health work in Yamasa, Dominican Republic. There, I witnessed how doctors could empower patients by prioritizing preventive care, nutrition, community, spirituality, and diet to promote genuine healing and overall well-being. Inspired by this experience, I sought a deeper understanding of what it truly means to heal.
A turning point came when I faced my own health challenges, where conventional medicine alone couldn’t provide the solutions I needed. This led me to transform my lifestyle, diet, and environment, incorporating Eastern practices and focusing on the mind-body connection. Embracing these changes not only restored my health but also redefined my approach to patient care, paving the way for me to become an Integrative Medicine physician.
I believe that health is not simply a state of physical well-being; it is a story reflecting a person’s life experiences. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and guiding patients on a path to becoming the best versions of themselves.
